I am running a giveaway to celebrate hitting one million views on Yorkshire Wonders.
I started this website a little over two years ago as a way to record our days out but with an eye to hopefully make more of it later on. It’s been a fun journey (and a really steep learning curve!), but I have loved (almost) every minute of it. Anyway, I am not sure if you realise but one of the things as a blogger we keep an eye on is how many page views we get a day, week or month. I have just celebrated a bit of a milestone – and have just gone over 1 million page views for the life of my blog. Now, I think that’s a huge, incomprehensible number. I can’t imagine something I have written being read 1 million times!
So to celebrate this milestone I’m running a competition to win a bundle of goodies kindly donated by some lovely companies. It’s a bit of an eclectic bundle and there are some fab bits in it! Have a look at the prizes and then scroll to the bottom to enter!

Nine-year-old tech whizz Detective Dot, an agent of the Children’s Intelligence Agency, is on a mission to investigate teenage trillionare Shelly Belley. The north London start-up behind her is on a mission too: to inspire children to want to be techies rather than princesses. Their website laments the fact that fewer British women take computer science degrees now than they did 10 years ago, and sets out to provide a role model for girls who might one day fix that problem. The mega-pack comes with a Detective Dot book that is a fun story as well as a lesson in coding, a series of “missions” to complete, such as cracking a code or writing an “if statement” using, refreshingly, nothing more high-tech and expensive than a pen and piece of paper. The pack also contains stickers and of course a CIA membership card and personalised letter. Older children (aged eight and above) will love it.“ Price: £18.99.
