12 Great Yorkshire Farms for the Kids

Great Yorkshire Farms for the Kids – my kids are getting older now, but we always loved farm parks.

With petting zoos, sand pits, climbing frames and barrel rides, there is so much for them to do and it’s great for them to run wild outside.

I’ve put a list together for you of some of the best farm parks in Yorkshire.  I’ve also adding some extra places that might not be actual farm parks but tick similar boxes with lots of outdoor play.

Piglets Adventure Farm Park, York

Towthorpe Grange, Towthorpe Moor Ln, Towthorpe, York YO32 9ST

Piglets has always been one of our favourites.

“What will you do first? Jump for joy on our Bouncing Pillows, take a swing at Crazy Golf or tackle the Olym-Pig Assault Course! You can sculpt sandcastles in the Giant Sand Pit, climb over Giant Pigs, beat mum and dad on the Pedal Go-Karts, be a farmer on your own Kidbine Tractor, and explore the Fairy Tale and Farmyard Trails… there’s just so much to do!

And the fun continues indoors! Hop aboard the Tractor & Trailer ride to our Undercover Indoor Play Barn, race friends on Ride-on Tractors, brave our Drop Slides and dig for victory on our NEW JCB wooden diggers!

Come and have a great family day out!”

Check what they are doing for Halloween and Christmas too.

The following are not exactly farms but may have a lot of the things you are looking for.

There is lots to do at the Web Adventure Park from a huge soft play to fairground rides, large sand pit and petting zoo.

York Maze, North Yorkshire

York Maze is brilliant and a fantastic day out, we love it there and go every year.  With a huge maize maze, bouncy pillows, giant slides and brilliant shows, it really is one of the best family days out Yorkshire.

They are only open during the Summer and at Halloween – we have reviewed both and made a video.
