We love to go on holiday on a cruise. We’ve been on various different cruise lines over the years. There are lots of websites where you can dabble with gambling reviewed by Top10 Casino Sites, but for me the casino is very much a holiday occupation.
In the past we cruised the Caribbean on the Carnival Glory, that was when before the kids were born, so it was a very different holiday to what we do now. When Master T was a baby we went on a cruise of the Mediterranean on a Costa cruise.
Later on we took both kids from Southampton down to Spain on on the Emerald Princess. More recently we’ve been on Independence of the Seas and MSC Virtuosa. This summer we’re planning to do a cruise of the Norwegian Fjords on a P&O cruise on Iona.
As you can see we’ve done many, many cruises and all different cruise lines. There are some similarities between all the cruise lines, though – the food is always fantastic. There are swimming pools. There’s a spa and I love the entertainment. Another firm favourite of mine though, is the casino. I love a casino. I don’t play roulette or poker, but I do like to play the slots. I once went to las Vegas and won $800 on a slot machine and I’ve been hooked ever since.
There are lots of great online forums as well as Facebook groups where you can do your research on cruise ships before you go. Have a look what’s included as a lot of the UK cruise lines have gratuities included but do check with some other cruise lines as that can add a significant amount to the price of the cruise. Also check out drinks prices because drinks are very expensive on a cruise. Depending on how much you’re going to drink, a drinks package might be a good idea. Work out how many drinks you might have a day and whether it be worthwhile for you. Don’t just think about alcoholic drinks though. Think about a coffee in the morning. A couple of cokes with lunch. Maybe a cup of tea in the afternoon and then your wine with dinner and maybe a few gins in the evening. It really can add up. Keep an eye out for special deals where your drinks are included. They are usually the best value.
