EASTER DAYS OUT AT LIGHTWATER VALLEY
Saturday 4th – Sunday 19th April 2020
The theme park will be opening this Easter Holidays from Saturday 4th – Sunday 19th April for a fortnight full of fun for all the family. With over 30 rides and attractions, Lightwater Valley offers families an amazing value day out in Yorkshire. Visitors can brave the longest rollercoaster in Europe – The Ultimate, with a ride time approaching 6 minutes. Younger family members will love the wet ‘n’ wild fun of the water rides and the swashbucklin’ adventures to be had over at the Skull Rock pirate area.
Throughout the school holidays, join the park’s resident dinosaurs as they entertain the crowds with their dance moves and sing-a-long to all your favourite hit songs at 3:30pm! Families are also invited to have a jungle-tastic time as the Magic Light UV puppet show take to the stage to show visitors both young and old a roaring good time at 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Meet the park’s magical magician as he dazzles visitors with close-up tricks and illusions.

York’s Chocolate Story
From the 6th – 13th April 2020
Tour Times each day: 11am & 2pm
The Easter Bunny and their friend are visiting York for an incredible Easter egg hunt experience. Children will join in with amazing games and meet colourful costumed characters as they work to find the missing chocolate eggs.
Start outside the attraction in King’s Square, before being led to the beautiful surroundings of the Merchant Adventurers’ Hall, this is the perfect way for families to get into the Easter Spirit.
Be aware; the Easter Bunny loves fresh air! As the event will be outside in Yorkshire weather, it’s best to come prepared!
Please note that the Easter Egg Hunt taking place on the afternoon of Saturday 11th will be slightly different. There will be one taking place at 2pm and another at 3:30pm, at the attraction itself. These two will be indoors, in contrast to the others taking place outdoors at the Merchant Adventures’ Hall.
