I love a good Sunday dinner, roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and all the trimmings. Or roast pork and apple sauce, I am not fussy. In our house all Sunday dinners come with Yorkshire puddings though, I don’t hold with this idea that you only get Yorkshires with beef – no, no, no! Anyway, to that end I decided to write a post on the best places to eat Sunday lunch in the Pocklington area (covering York, Malton and Beverley too). I asked on my local Facebook page and these are the places nominated for the best Sunday lunch in Pocklington and surroundings. If a comment was made with the recommendation, I have included it.
If I get chance to visit any of these places (and I would like to!) I’ll give them a review and take photos for you to see. (If you own one of these places, send me a few words about your Sunday dinners and I will add them to the post. If you would like a full review, drop me an email – will work for food 😊)
Have a look at my list of family friendly restaurants in York too.
