Estabulo Flemingate Beverley – Brazilian Rodizio Restaurant Review – We recently discovered the pleasures of Flemingate in Beverley after Inflata Nation opened. There are some great shops, a cinema, Inflata Nation of course and some fantastic restaurants. One of these is Estabulo, a Brazilian Rodizio bar and grill. It’s both contemporary in its styling and comfortable with large booths and even larger wine glasses!
There is a bar area to meet up with friends beforehand. A large party came in after us and socialised in here before taking a table, it made for a nice lively atmosphere.
Estabulo Flemingate Beverley – Brazilian Rodizio Review
Now, if you haven’t visited a Brazilian Rodizio before, let me explain the concept. To begin with there is a large salad and hot buffet bar where you can help yourself before the main theatre of your visit – the meat! But to go back to the buffet bar, there was all manner of salads:
Cooked meat and cheeses:

There was also a hot buffet with garlicky roast potatoes and rice. It’s worth noting at this point that you will also be brought a large dish of seasoned fries to the table (so don’t get too many potatoes now!).
Now, this is where the drama begins! On your table you each have a disc which is green on one side (bring me more):
and red on the other (hang on, I ‘ve got loads here already!):
This is your way of communicating to your server what stage of fullness you are at! If you choose the green disc then your server will continually visit your table and ply you with the most delicious cuts of meat. Estabulo serve 15 cuts of meat during dinner and you are invited to try as many as you would like. You are not given huge amounts at once so as to keep room for what is to come, but can ask for more at any point. So, to give you a taster of what you could try (and we tried pretty much everything between us), I’ll let you see the photos. I am hoping I label everything correctly, there was just so many varieties!
I have lots of beef photos but am not entirely sure I can tell which is which! (You are told when your server approaches your table though!). There was fillet mignon, sirloin, beef skirt, rump and garlic steak amongst others though! My favourites were the belly pork and syrup, the gammon, the minted lamb and the rump steak. It really is an experience as much as a meal. Miss H is a pescetarian and there was plenty for her. Master T ate almost as much as I did and tried a bit of everything. He loved the lamb, which we very rarely have at home.
Absolutely recommend it – go and try it for yourself. Just make sure you come hungry!
Estabulo invited us to come and review, but as ever, all the opinions expressed are my own.
