Backlot Express
For some reason we always gravitate towards the Backlot Express when we are in Hollywood Studios. I can recommend the Chili-Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog and the 1/3rd Angus Bacon Cheeseburger.

This new Pizza restaurant is situated in what used to be known as the Muppets Courtyard. You can sample such goodies as (Mr Wonders’s favourite) a Meatball Sub, an Antipasto Salad (great for those Kalamata Olive lovers) or a good old Pepperoni Pizza.
Fairfax Fare
Now, this is somewhere we haven’t been, but looking at the menu, it’s on my list for next time! Latino specialities such as the Fajita Combo Platter (Pulled Pork, Grilled Chicken and Flour Tortillas served with Black Beans, Cilantro Rice, Peppers, Onions, Sour Cream and Roasted Corn Medley) and the El Pastor Pulled Pork Sandwich
(Latin-inspired Pulled Pork topped with Peppers and Onions served with Roasted Corn Medley and Sweet Plantains) have my mouth watering!
Rosie’s All-American Café
If you are looking for American classics then Rosie’s is the place for you. Choose from the 1/3 lb Fresh Angus Onion Straw Cheddar Cheeseburger
(1/3 lb Chargrilled Angus Beef Burger topped with Cheddar Cheese, Lettuce, Tomato, Pickles and Fried Onion Straws on a Kaiser Roll served with choice of Coleslaw or French Fries) or a Fried Green Tomato Sandwich (Fried Green Tomatoes topped with Jalapeño Ranch Dressing, Pepper Jack, Tomatoes and topped with Arugula on Ciabatta Bread) which sounds fab!
ABC Commissary
Now – this is what I am ordering next time – the Chicken and Ribs Combo Platter (Smoked Barbecue Spare Ribs and Roasted Chicken served with Coleslaw and French Fries) oh yes, my perfect lunch! If your appetite can’t stretch to that, you could go for the Mediterranean Salad with Chicken (Grilled Chicken Breast on a bed of Fresh Mixed Greens with Cherry Tomatoes, Red Onions, Pepperoncini, Kalamata Olives and Feta Cheese tossed in a Mediterranean Vinaigrette, served with Hummus and Pita Chips). Either way, I think you will be happy!
