As you probably know, we love everything to do with Disney, but what else is there to do in Orlando?
1) Wonderworks is an indoor amusement arcade inside a quirky upside down building. You can also see the Outta Control Comedy Show there (with unlimited pizza and beer!). WonderWorks is an amusement park for the mind with 35,000 square feet of “edu-tainment”. The attraction combines education and entertainment with more than 100 hands on exhibits that challenge the mind and spark the imagination.
2)Boggy Creek Airboat Rides – Another great day out that is quite close to both Universal and Walt Disney World is to take a tour on the Boggy Creek Airboat rides. Covering 32 acres of swamp you can search for gators on this exciting adventure. Each airboat tour is a unique experience and never the same. You will enjoy whisking across the water at speeds up to 45 mph while shooting between walls of tall grass.
3) Universal Studios probably needs no introduction. It has three amazing parks, Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and Universal’s Volcano Bay. The first two of course are home to the incredible Wizarding World of Harry Potter. A family day out at Universal Studios is a must do activity when you are in Orlando.
4) Kennedy Space Center – Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is where rockets launch and inspiration begins at Florida’s gateway to space. Located one small step from Orlando, arrive early for a full-day experience at the greatest space adventure on Earth. If you are lucky you may even see a rocket launch!
5) SeaWorld Parks – SeaWorld have three parks, SeaWorld where you can visit penguins and dolphins and ride rollercoaster, Busch Gardens where you can experience more fabulous rollercoasters and you can even hand-feed giraffes when you embark on a Serengeti Safari! Then there is Discovery Cove where you can swim with dolphins! We have reviewed SeaWorld here.
