Berwick Christmas Market 2022
Marygate, Berwick | 11th December 2022
Berwick Rotary Club are holding the Christmas Market this year on Sunday the 11th December.
You can expect gift stalls, food, drink and lots of Christmas fun!
Raby Castle Christmas Market

One of our highlights of the festive season is our Christmas Market. “Come and browse our lovely stalls discover lots of delicious treats, seasonal produce and beautiful homemade products from local suppliers. The perfect place to pick up a special gift. Our Stables Shop will be open also and decked to the halls with boughs of holly – and unique Christmas treasures.
We will be serving takeaway food and drink to keep you energised whilst you shop. Why not warm up with a glass of our spiced mulled wine? Our Stables Yurt will also be open for refreshments and lunch and local choirs and brass bands will keep you entertained with festive carols.
Enjoy the woody scent of pine, as you pick your perfect Christmas tree. Grown on the Raby Estates, our visitors love the tradition of collecting their Raby tree.
Parking and entry to the market is FREE.”
Durham Christmas Festival 2022

Durham Christmas Festival will run from Friday 2nd December to Sunday 4th December, 2022.
“Come and enjoy loads of Christmas shopping with more than 200 independent traders… as well as seasonal entertainment for all the family.
With 4 markets, and 3 days of entertainment throughout the city of Durham, it will be a great way to start the Christmas season 2022!
We’re delighted that the Children’s Lantern Parade is back this year (at a new time).
We’re currently planning the Craft & Gift Marquee on Palace Green, the Regional Producers’ Market in the Cloisters of Durham Cathedral and the Festive Outdoor Market in Durham Market Place. Durham Market Hall will be open each day of the Festival too.”
Newcastle Christmas Market
Predicted to be the 2nd of December until the 24th December 2022
Newcastle Christmas Market has yet to be confirmed, but the details from last year (which usually give a good indication of what will happen this year) are:
You know Yuletide is just around the corner when the smell of sizzling bratwurst and mulled wine fills the city centre streets.
Around 30 Christmas market stalls will be set up around Grey’s Monument to create a “winter wonderland.”
Local traders have been given the opportunity this year to bring something special and make it a Christmas to remember.
