Sledmere House, near Driffield, East Yorkshire

Saturday the 27th of October 2018

Sledmere House – Musical Fireworks Display Spectacular. We visited and I can honestly say that the firework display was the best I’d ever seen. They were choreographed to music and wherever you stood, it was a good view. They also had a fairground and food stalls, so take wellies and cash!

Our popular Musical Firework Spectacular is back for a third year and will be sure to wow you with an amazing fireworks display set to music with this years theme being ‘Out of this World’! There will be lots of well recognised extra-terrestrial tunes and alien inspired décor, Fairground rides, refreshments (including a Hog Roast) and a licensed bar.

Fireworks at The KP – Pocklington, East Yorkshire

Sunday the 4th of November 2018

Kilnwick Percy Resort (The KP) in Pocklington are hosting fireworks also provided by the Fireworkers of Driffield, so it promises to be a good night.  There is also food, children’s rides and a sweetie cart.  We visited last years and plan to go again this year.

York Maze Bonfire and Fireworks Display York, North Yorkshire

We love the York Maze, but have never been to their Bonfire Night. Maybe it is time!

Dunnington Bonfire, York Fireworks and Live Music, North Yorkshire

Dunnington Bonfire, Fireworks and Live Music ’16 to be held on Saturday 5th November. For the second year we will be doing a 5 minute quiet display once the bonfire has been lit followed by the main display later on in the evening. Come along and enjoy the fire acts, food units, bar, attractions, bonfire, quiet display, main display and live music.

We are having our Bonfire at the Park. £5 per adult. £2.50 per child. Family ticket – £12. Food and refreshments are being sold. There is a bar too.
Gates open at 6pm. Fire lit at 6.30. Fireworks at 7pm.
There is a best lantern and best guy competition – why not make one over the half term holidays?
All profits go towards the upkeep of this beautiful park.


Pocklington Bonfire and Fireworks

Reasonably priced bonfire and fireworks on West Green in Pocklington.  Gates open at 5pm, bonfire lit at 5.30, fireworks at 6.30.

Langlands Bonfire Party and Fireworks Display, Shiptonthorpe

On Sunday the 5th of November, Langlands invites you and your family to attend our annual Bonfire Party and Fireworks Display at our Shiptonthorpe Garden Centre, from 4:30pm until Late*.

Our annual Bonfire Party and Fireworks Display is a popular Langlands Tradition that we all really look forward to. The happy crowds, the gorgeous food, the fantastic spectacle of the fireworks; it just doesn’t get better! In addition, children under 3 can come for free!

Join us at Langlands Shiptonthorpe for an exciting evening of live music, family entertainment and traditional Bonfire fayre. Customers can buy a huge range of hot, tasty Langlands food and drink, which will be on offer to help keep the winter chill at bay. Poppleton Fireworks and Bonfire, York, North Yorkshire

Bonfire, Fireworks and Hog Roast!

Poppleton fireworks – This year’s event will be even better than last with more fun, more ‘aaahs’ with not only a fantastic firework display and an enormous bonfire but the ever popular hog roast to feed the hungry crowds! We’ll also have on offer hot dogs, burgers and more, plus a bar and a live band to round off the evening. Tickets available on-line at and on sale in Poppleton at Cardland, Poppleton Post Office, The Co-op and from Café Refresh at the Poppleton Centre itself.

If you’re coming by car there’s a free car park at Wyevale Poppleton Garden Centre, just a 20 minute walk from the event, which will avoid any congestion in Poppleton.
All proceeds will go to local community groups and The Poppleton Centre. 

Admission is by advance sale ticket only, £8 for adults, £3 for children (5-16), under 5s free.

  • I love standing by a bonfire and watching fireworks. I just wish that the clocks did not go back at the end of October…I’m not such a fan of the dark winter nights!
