Stunning Swimwear from the Protest Summer 2020 Collection

Stunning Swimwear from the Protest Summer 2020 Collection

I am always dreaming and planning future holidays, and as part of that, I love browsing swimwear sites and deciding on my future holiday wardrobe.  I love sarongs, and flip flops, I even love cute looking beach towels, but of course the most important item is the bikini!

Bikinis

I love this Protest Ale 20 Triangle bikini in Seashell.  It’s seriously pretty with pale pink floral polyester fabric that just says holidays to me!  I like the ties on the bikini bottoms, they just give them a little something extra.  The cups are padded but the padding is removable if padding is not your thing.  The straps are a thin halter neck and have a lovely beaded detail at the front.  The fabric is PFC-free which is more environmentally friendly.

Push Up Bikinis

Protest make push up bikinis that give you a more defined cleavage (and that’s got to be a good thing, right?).  They do this by lifting and bringing together.  This C-cup push up bikini top is almost the reverse colourways to the seashell triangle bikini, in navy with pink and white floral detail.  The top is supportive with a thicker strapped halter neck.

Tankinis

Now, the think I like about tankinis is that you can mix and match them!  I think it’s a good idea to buy fairly plain tankini bottoms and then go for two or three different styles of tops.  As a bit of a contrast to the floral bikinis I have mentioned, I love this black and white striped tankini.  I think it has more of a look of evening wear, or a burlesque corset – very saucy!  The vertical stripes are flattering, and I like the criss-cross straps.  This tankini also comes with removable padding.

Swim Shorts

Now, it would be unfair of me to spend all this money on myself without considering Mr W too.  Protest have a great selection of men’s swim shorts too.  I particularly like these deep blue shorts with their palm tree and parasol design.  It’s quite subtle, not too flamboyant but not boring!  They have an elasticated waist and a draw string cord for extra reassurance in the swimming pool!
