Christmas Kitchen Gift Guide and Air-Fryer Giveaway!

I love getting kitchen and home products for presents on birthdays and Christmas, I’ll come right out and say it!  I am a complete crockery and gadget geek and have several dinner services and so many lovely serving dishes!  Like the magpie I am though, I am always on the look out for more, which is why it makes perfect sense for me to do a kitchen gift guide – a roundup of all the lovely new products out for this season!  I also think it is fascinating how home trends follow fashion trends.  You can see how black, white and rose gold are a big theme in kitchen products this season.  It has to be said, I am more fashionable in my home gadgets than I am in my wardrobe!  Once you have had a look, make sure you enter the giveaway at the bottom of the page for a Tower Air Fryer.

Typhoon Otto Black Canisters

I think these tea, coffee and sugar canisters from Typhoon are very stylish.  They come in this matt black with a gold label.  The lid is made from sustainably sourced bamboo.

Tower Rose Gold kettle – buy from Amazon

This kettle is an unusual design and is big!  It has a 1.7 litre capacity and can boil up to 7 cups at once.  It also has boil-dry protection and an automatic switch off feature which is ideal for me as I have killed more than one kettle in the past by putting it on to boil with no water in it!  It comes in black and rose gold too.

Tower salt and pepper mills  – Buy from Amazon

We have had battery operated grinders for years and I would not be without them now.  We have rock salt in one and black peppercorns in the other.  You push the button at the top and it grinds the salt or pepper for you.  It even lights up the area you are seasoning!  Easy to fill and you can see how much is in there.  Like the matching kettle, these come in black and rose gold too.

BergHOFF Gem frying pan – buy from House of Fraser

This is a cute little cast aluminium pan with a non stick coating.  The key thing is though that you can use it on any hob type (including induction hobs) and then you can detach the handle so it can go into the oven.

BIA Quick Recipe Roaster – Not Just Jugs

Have you heard of this before?  ‘Smart’ crockery?  Quick Recipe is an innovative range which brings technology into traditional baking and makes it easy to find great recipes with just a simple scan on your phone or tablet.  There is a QR code on the base of your roaster that allows you to find recipes easily.  I like it in theory and the roaster itself is very pretty!

BIA Gastro Noir Mie oil/vinegar bottle – Not Just Jugs

I love the shape of this oil/vinegar bottle.  It’s designed to give the look and feel of cast iron and has a real solid feel.  We use a lot of olive oil, so this is perfect for us.  And see more black!

Stasher – (depending on colours/sizes – John Lewis, Lakeland, Steamer, Amazon)

Now, I’ve never tried these before! Stasher bags are multi-purpose, easy to use and easy to seal. You can cook dinner in them, use them for kitchen storage and even fill them with cosmetics for your travels. Give them a run in the dishwasher and you can use them again and again, for whatever purpose you choose.

BergHOFF Leo knives – buy from Amazon

I love these coloured knives made from high grade stainless steel with non stick ceramic coated blade.   If you look closely at the middle two, you can see that one has a ‘herb stripper’ incorporated while the other comes with a built in lemon zester – how clever is that and how good do they look?!

Mixing Bowls – In the Forest Range by Mason Cash

I love mixing bowls.  I don’t know why, but I just find them so satisfying to use.  These ones are so solid and pretty.  The ‘In the Forest’ range is intricately embossed with forest scenes inspired by folk tales of the mid-19th century.

Serving Platter – In the Forest Range by Mason Cash

Another one from the Mason Cash In The Forest range.  A perfect platter for mince pies methinks!

Salt and Pepper Set – In the Forest Range by Mason Cash

This little owl salt and pepper pot is so cute!!  Too cute unfortunately though as my daughter has seen and claimed them!

Kilner Stackable Storage Jars

I love Kilner Jars, there is something so pleasing about seeing all my jars lined up filled with flour and rice (and mini marshmallows – just me?  Ok.).  I am hoping to have a pantry built next year and this stacking set is going to have pride of place.

KINDERKITCHEN ESSENTIALS SET

Perfect for the little ones.  I think the snippers would be great to get the kids helping make things in the kitchen.  The kinderkitchen Essentials Set contains a straight and a serrated Dog Knife plus a pair of Duck Snippers. The knives are made of the same strong Japanese stainless steel as our other Kuhn Rikon knives and are sharp enough to cut soft food.

Green Pan Mayflower Ceramic Non-Stick Frying Pan

This is a great sturdy non-stick pan from Green Pan.  Coated with a ceramic non-stick on the inside and made from aluminium with a wooden handle.  It looks and feels great and well balanced when I hold it.
