Five Bedroom Villa at Formosa Valley, Orlando by UNEHomes – Review

Five Bedroom Villa UNEHomes Formosa Valley Orlando Review (12)

We recently returned to Orlando, this time to visit Walt Disney World. Rather than staying on site we stayed in a villa at Formosa Valley by UNEHomes. I have written a whole post about the pros and cons of staying on site or off-site at Disney so make sure you give that a read if you’re in a similar predicament.

The villa itself is about 20 minutes from Epcot and 30 minutes from Magic Kingdom, and like a lot of villas is South of the parks.

It’s in a gated community and you are given a code for the gate which is vital, if like us, you use Uber to get around or Uber Eats to have food delivered.

We stayed in a five-bedroom villa. This was large and comfortable with three bedrooms that had superking beds. The other two bedrooms were themed rooms with bunk beds that had a double bed at the bottom and a single above.

You don’t get to know which villa you are going to stay in when you book so you might get different themed rooms. But we had a Harry Potter themed room and a Mickey Mouse themed room. Both were tastefully done and would delight any young fans.

My 18-year-old was not as impressed at being in bunk beds in a Harry Potter room, however declared his bed was the most comfortable in the villa!

Downstairs there is one bedroom which is a Superking with ensuite.

The other four bedrooms are upstairs. All of the bedrooms have their own ensuite. The themed children’s bedrooms have a Jack and Jill ensuite in the middle of the two.

All of the bedrooms also have their own TV, (so many TVs!)

The main bedroom is beautifully spacious, light and airy.

Upstairs you will also find a second living area or family room/den with a large comfortable sofa and TV.

There is also a laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

Downstairs you will find the main living area which comprises of a modern kitchen set around a kitchen island. It has everything you would need, from an oven and microwave, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, toaster, air fryer, coffee maker and kettle.

There is also a lovely little corner pantry for all your food storage.

In the hallway there is a utility cupboard that houses a vacuum, a brush, mop and bucket as well as items for children such as a stroller and a travel cot.

On that note, in the living room, you’ll also find a high chair.

There is a large dining table that is set up already for eight people. A sofa that comfortably seats three and a comfortable easy chair. There are two further chairs set around the television that have to be two of the most uncomfortable chairs I’ve ever sat in.  Definitely style over comfort!

There are also four bar stools around the kitchen island.

Outside there is a small plunge pool, an outdoor table with four chairs and two Adirondack loungers. These are very attractive but not the most comfortable lounger I’ve ever sat in. But nice to have them anyway!

The pool looked a bit green when we arrived, but on our second day a man leaned over the fence and poured (freehand) a huge amount of chlorine in and that sorted it!

You will also find a safety screen around the pool so you can relax around young children.

It’s a lovely villa, not quite as plush as the one we stayed in last year at Villatel Orlando Resort, but an awful lot cheaper!

Do have a look at my post on Things to do at ICON Park if you are planning to visit.  We reviewed several things there.
