Grand Hyatt Lanzarote Playa Dorada Resort & Spa is a large beachfront all-inclusive resort in Playa Blanca that appeals to both families and couples looking for a relaxing sun holiday with plenty of facilities on-site. We had a wonderful stay there recently and you can read my full review here.
The hotel has an excellent location directly beside Playa Dorada beach and close to the marina, shops, and promenade walks. We stayed in the Master Suite with Ocean Views (read my review here) which was spacious and modern with incredible views. The hotel has multiple swimming pools, clean surroundings, and a friendly atmosphere. Families especially appreciate the kids’ facilities, waterpark, entertainment, and variety of dining options.
The resort offers a more premium “Preferred Club” upgrade, which includes access to exclusive pools, lounges, and upgraded amenities.
Overall, the hotel is best suited to travellers who value location, family-friendly facilities, and a resort-style atmosphere over ultra-luxury service (though it was luxurious). It’s widely regarded as a solid all-inclusive option in Lanzarote, particularly for beach holidays and families with children.
