Jump into Spring Patterns at Fashion World

Every so often I get invited to try new things and then write about them.  After the winter it’s hard to know what to wear.  This month I was invited to sample some of the lovely clothes that can be found at Fashion World.  I ordered some lovely new tops from Joe Browns as I love their bohemian styles and I love the fact that Fashion World do plus sizes!  All the tops I ordered are perfect for Spring into Summer and have long tunic length hems (nothing worse than a too short top!).  To begin with I ordered this lovely jersey ‘utterly unique‘ tunic:

What I like about it are the panels in different fabrics.

My favourite part is the soft floral panel at the front:

It’s such a gorgeous pattern.  I think it would be perfect for a short sleeved summer top too!

Then I chose this soft polycotton tunic.  Again you can see I have chosen another lovely pattern.  As the top is cotton though rather than jersey, there is less give, so I would aim for the next size up to give a bit more room.

There is a large cut out at the back that you can’t see here but it makes the top really unusual (and does not show the back of my bra, which is what I was worried about!).  You can see my close ups of the pattern here:

And the hem:

Finally I chose this lovely kimono style wrap dress in a soft jersey fabric.

You can see the neckline detail here:

and the hem here:

I was worried initially that the wrap bit at the front would gape, and show my bra (can you see a theme here) but it does not.  The pattern is oriental cherry blossom and just stunning.  The waist is high and sits just under the bust and is very flattering.  I love the contrast between the red and purple.  I have worn it with jeans but would also work as a dress in its own right.  You can see more of the Joe Browns range here.
