Our review of Madame Tussauds at ICON Park in Orlando. When you’re in Orlando, it’s very easy to get swept up with the big theme parks, but if you fancy something a bit different (and indoors with air conditioning – always a bonus in Florida!) then Madame Tussauds at ICON Park is well worth a visit. I was particularly pleased to go as I have never been to the Madame Tussauds in London. I don’t know why, it has just never happened.

The waxworks are very lifelike. The teens loved spotting famous faces they recognised, and we all had fun posing for silly photos.
You can stand alongside Harry Styles, pose with Taylor Swift, or even kiss the top of The Rock’s head (that was Mr W!)! It’s very interactive, so you’re encouraged to get involved and not just stand and look.
It’s not a huge attraction, so it’s perfect for a couple of hours of entertainment without being overwhelming. We loved pretending to be the president of the US and striking superhero poses – plenty of giggles all round.

It’s indoors, so a brilliant option if you’re looking for a break from the Florida sun (or one of those sudden rain showers, of which we experienced a lot, being the end of August!).

Tickets are often cheaper if you buy them in advance online or as part of a multi-attraction bundle.
You’ll probably spend about 60–90 minutes inside, depending on how many photos you take (and believe me, you’ll end up taking loads!). Pushchairs are fine, and the whole place is very accessible.
Madame Tussauds Orlando is a great addition to your holiday itinerary – light-hearted, family-friendly, and full of fun photo opportunities. The teens gave it a big thumbs up, and I have to admit, I quite enjoyed hanging out with Ryan Reynolds myself!
