Back to School Gift Guide for 2020

Well, it’s been a funny old year hasn’t it? Miss H managed the last four weeks of school before the summer holidays, but Master T has not been to his secondary school since March. So this year’s ‘Back to School’ post feels a little strange! But, whatever the circumstances, its nice to have some lovely, shiny, back to school items to look forward to. We often get sent a selection of the newest and shiniest things out there, so I have put a post together to show you too.

Smiggle

Smiggle really is the home of stationery and back to school items.  Their new range this year is the Budz Collection featuring a series of cute (or scary) characters with big eyes!  They have lots of items to collect, like the backpack, lunch box, pencil case and waterbottle.  You can save money by buying a bundle at once too, like this set below for £50 for all.

Smash Lunch Boxes and Bottles

SMASH have a large range of innovative products that are BPA-free, non-toxic and food-safe.  Not only that – they look great and come at a very affordable price.  This five piece lunch bag includes the bag itself that is divided into two sections, a drinks bottle, sandwich box, freezable ice pack and snack container.  The fabric is reflective too!

5 Piece Lunch Bag Navy £12.00.

5 Piece Lunch Bag Mint £12.00.

Floral Lunch Bag £6.00.

Score S2 Case & Bottle Lunch Bag £7.00.

Bobux Shoes

These school shoes from Bobux are the Scout shoes – a classic and sleek trainer that pairs perfectly with any school uniform. With a double strap fastening for adjustability, kids can comfortably get them on and out the door, and a reinforced toe cap offers increased durability and protection in the playground. Reinforced stitching, premium leather with protective finish and an adjustable strap fastening.  Have a look at the Bobux website for other really lovely kids and toddlers shoe styles too!

Marton Bag from Tog24

This smart looking red and navy backpack from Tog24 is perfect for my teen boy and as an added bonus was designed in Yorkshire.  Marton has a large outer pocket and a laptop pocket inside; making it easy to organise your books, gadgets and valuables so you can quickly put your hands on them when you need them. Don’t worry about loading it up as the comfortable, adjustable padded straps give you support and help spread the load.

Suneez Kids’ Sunglasses

My daughter loves these sunglasses from Suneez.  Kid’s eyes are more susceptible to UV damage, as their eyes are still developing, and you may think that summer is over but these will protect them from the Autumn sun – plus they look cool and are virtually unbreakable.  The design reminds me a bit of my 80’s Ray-bans!

Kambukka Bottle

Kambukka make water bottles and food jars that are dishwasher safe, which is ideal for me as we often forget to wash them straight away! The children’s Lagoon range is BPA free and made with a Tritan body, meaning that they clean up really well!  This one we were sent is known as ‘Alien Arcade’ and retails at £17.90.
