Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party at Walt Disney World

There are two fabulous parties that I would love to do at Walt Disney World, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.  One of my best friend’s did the Halloween Party recently and here is what she has to say:

Where is Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party held?

In Magic Kingdom – where else!  Main Street is decorated for the season with pumpkins and fall leaves.

Do you need a special ticket for the Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party?

Yes, you need to buy separate tickets for the party and can’t just use your normal passes.  Tickets start at $85.  You get a special wristband to show that you have tickets for the party.

Is everyone dressed in Halloween costumes?

Not everyone but most people wanted to get into the Halloween spirit!

Is there Trick or Treating?

Yes of course, you get a map as you enter the park and they tell you where the trick and treat stations are, as well as where the special Halloween characters are.  When you approach a Trick or Treating station, you just queue up and they give you sweets – you will have collected your special Trick or Treating bag when you entered the park.

What else is different to normal?

There is a Boo-to-You parade with costumed Disney characters and a headless horseman!  There’s also the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular show outside the castle, and then later the evening is finished off with Happy Hallowishes Fireworks!
