Butlins Skegness Seaside Apartments Reviews and Tour

Butlins Skegness Seaside Apartments Reviews – Last Summer we had a fab weekend at Butlin’s Skegness, where we stayed in the lovely Seaside Apartments.

Video Review of the Seaside Apartments Butlins Skegness

These are the highest priced apartments in Butlin’s and with good reason.  Before I get onto the decor, let me tell you the other plus points of the Seaside Apartments.  To start with they all have fabulous large balconies where the family can sit, eat and play games.  We had particularly hot weather when we visited so it was lovely to sit out on an evening after the shows and relax with a glass of wine.  It’s also good for people watching!

If you are debating between the Seaside Apartments and the Fairground Apartments you can compare by looking at my Fairground Apartments tour here.

The other great plus point for the Butlin’s Seaside Apartments is that they are very centrally located, so you are very close to all the facilities.  The Skyline Pavilion is just a few steps away – the apartments are on the Splash Waterworld side.  They are also very close to the Premium Dining too.   The apartments are spaciously set out and you have your own entrance (rather than having an entrance veranda where everyone walks by to get to their room, which can be noisy).  There is lots of room around the apartments too, and a small play park.

They are very recently refurbished with a modern and bright seaside theme in shades of blue and green.  The pictures on the walls are carefully chosen too with some fab vintage scenes of Butlin’s days gone by.

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment.  There was a twin room for the children with a central bedside cabinet and open wardrobe.

Our room had a double bed (and this cute towel elephant was sat on it!).

We also had open wardrobes, a room safe and an LCD TV.  Iron and ironing board were also provided (but not used!!)

The hallway had coat hanging space and a full length mirror.

The kitchen area housed a fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster as well as pots, pans and towels.  The kids loved the magnetic ‘pin the tail on the donkey’ game.

There was also table and chairs for four.

In the living area there is a big squishy corner sofa, facing a large LCD TV.

Incidentally, the plug next to the TV has USB sockets for charging all your electrical items.  Then there are the large patio doors that lead out to your balcony.

The Butlins Skegness Seaside Apartments are definitely my favourite place to stay.  As I mentioned before, I have also reviewed the Fairground Apartments if you would like to compare the two.

  1. Hi Nikki, can you remember the number of the apartment you were staying in? Looks to be a great spot? Thanks

    • Hi Louise,

I am so sorry, I can’t! I’ve been back through all my photos and paperwork to see if I could find out and I couldn’t. Gah! All of the Seaside re very central though and I’d recommend them (we are hoping to go back for New Year and it’s where we will stay again!). Have a fab time! Nikki x

      • Thanks so much for the reply anyway, appreciate it. It’s our first time. Hope you guys have a great time too! X

  2. Hi there

Thanks for posting this review. My family and I have booked to go in October so this has been very useful to read. Can you remember how close to the accommodation the car park was? We have been to Butlins Skegness before but always stayed in Silver so we used the main south car park. Just curious as to whether this accommodation has parking any closer to it being that little bit more expensive?

    Thanks,

    Stacey

    • Hi Stacey,

We were definitely parked close to the accommodation. The Seaside apartments are really centrally located too so close to parking but also close to the entertainment centre. I am very envious of your trip – you’ll have a fab time! I think over the years we have done silver, gold, Fairground and Seaside and Seaside was definitely the best!

      Nikki x
