Energi Trampoline Park York – Active Kids!

Yesterday we visited Energi Trampoline Park for the first time. It’s an amazing place, and the kids were very excited to visit. It’s in a huge building and it’s full of both trampolines on the floor and at bounce-able angles against the wall.

Different Zones

Towards the back of the Energi building there are different zones. There’s trampolines in front of basketball hoops so you can slam dunk to your heart’s content. Keen on dance mats? There are dance mats that light up on the wall, all you need to do is keep bouncing and hit the right spot when it lights up!

Foam Pit

I asked Master T what his favourite bit was about the trampoline park, and he replied that it was the huge pits filled with foam. You can bounce from a trampoline into the foam pit. You can’t stay in there long though as others are waiting to bounce in. I think there is scope for a new attraction here – massive foam pits that you can spend all afternoon in just like ball pools! Who’s with me?

Bouncy Pillow

There is an intriguing version of a bouncy pillow, which looks a bit lumpy but seemed to be popular, along with an assault course to make your way across.

Dodge Ball

The Dodge Ball Zone also went down well for some high energy play with other children (not for the more delicate child it has to be said!). There is also a Parkour area, which seemed to consist of a very long trampoline with bouncy walls, probably suited to older children and teens.

Cafe

Above all this and looking down with a great view, is the café. Lots of tables and comfy sofas to while away your hour while the kids are throwing themselves around like loons! The café has a good selection of hot drinks and some lovely tray bakes and cakes. I took advantage of the ‘Hot drink and tray bake for £3’ deal which I thought was a complete bargain!  There was also a very nice looking ice-cream counter.

Energi is also an interesting idea for a children’s birthday party.

We visited during the family session which is £7.95 per child for an hour’s jumping.

Energi Trampoline Park kindly invited us to visit to review. All opinions are my own and not influenced in any way.
